An Ealing charity that supports children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a community fun day this Saturday (6 September 2025).
The Log Cabin Charity, based on Northfield Avenue, will host the event from 12pm to 5pm. Admission is £1 per person, while children under ten can attend free of charge.
The Log Cabin provides inclusive play and childcare for more than 200 children and young people each year, including those with SEND. The charity says the anniversary is an opportunity to bring together local families and highlight the role of community-led services in the borough.
A spokesperson said: “This year is particularly special as we celebrate our 45th anniversary of serving children and young people, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, and their families in Ealing. The Family Fun Day will bring together the whole community for an afternoon of games, food stalls, entertainment, and activities for all ages.”
Attractions on the day include a food court featuring international cuisines, sweet stalls and summer drinks, alongside outdoor games, a bouncy castle, face painting, arts and crafts, sensory play areas, live performances and a fundraising raffle.
