Ealing Gets Digital to offer residents help with tech

Ealing residents who struggle with smartphones, computers or online services can get free face-to-face help at an Ealing Council event later this month.

Ealing Gets Digital will take place at the council’s Perceval House headquarters in Ealing Broadway on 19 October 2026, from 11am to 3pm.

Visitors will be able to get help with online forms and the NHS App, with 30-minute sessions also covering internet safety and how artificial intelligence (AI) can be useful.

Local organisations will be there to talk about digital skills courses and free data SIM cards for eligible residents.

People can also donate old laptops, tablets and other devices they no longer use. These will be securely wiped before being refurbished and passed on to people who need them, or recycled.

Ealing Council cabinet member for inclusive economy and efficiency Councillor Stephen Donnelly said: “Whether you are taking your first steps online or want help with a specific task, I encourage you to come along.”

Residents can register in advance via Eventbrite or turn up on the day.
