A Northolt Post Office branch is to close for more than five weeks in the autumn while the Tesco store it operates from undergoes refurbishment.
West End Post Office, at Tesco on Church Road, will close at 1pm on 5 September 2026 and is due to reopen at 9am on 12 October 2026.
The work was originally planned for June 2026 but was postponed, with revised dates now confirmed.
The Post Office is advising customers to use nearby branches including Northolt Post Office on Mandeville Road or Yeading Post Office on Yeading Lane in Hayes while the branch is closed.
Phil Manning, Post Office corporate account manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work. The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it is necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
