Former Lloyds Bank building in Ealing Broadway goes on the market

The former Lloyds Bank building near Ealing Broadway station has been put up for sale for more than £3.75 million with planning permission for a redevelopment that would include new homes.

Lloyds closed the branch at 44–45 The Broadway and moved into the former Amazon Fresh store in Ealing Broadway shopping centre, where its new branch opened in March 2025.

Amazon Fresh, which was the company’s first UK store, closed in July 2023. The premises remained empty until Lloyds moved in.

The vacant 5,744 sq ft former bank is arranged over a basement, ground floor and two upper floors. It includes the former banking hall, offices and storage space.

Property agent Savills is marketing the freehold on behalf of a private owner, with offers sought above £3.75 million.

Michael Lockhart, director at Savills, said: “With its prominent position opposite Ealing Broadway Station, excellent connectivity and the benefit of residential-led planning permission, 44-45 The Broadway presents a compelling opportunity for a range of purchasers.”
