Police seek man after Elizabeth Line sexual assault

Detectives investigating a sexual assault on an Elizabeth Line train in April have released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify after he got off at Ealing Broadway station.

British Transport Police said the incident happened at about 7.30pm on 19 April 2026.

A man boarded an Elizabeth Line service at Tottenham Court Road and, when the train reached Bond Street, allegedly sexually assaulted a woman while attempting to conceal his actions within the crowded carriage.

Officers said the man then travelled west and left the train at Ealing Broadway.

Detectives have now released a CCTV image of a man they believe may have information that could assist their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 115 of 20 April.

Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
