An individual has been banned from entering large parts of Ealing for four years after a court issued a Criminal Behaviour Order following offences linked to theft and anti-social behaviour.
Saranjeet Bahra was handed the order at Ealing Magistrates’ Court earlier this month (15 May 2026) after offences under the Theft Act and behaviour causing harassment, alarm and distress.
The order prohibits Bahra from entering a large exclusion zone covering Ealing Broadway, Ealing Common, Northfields, Walpole and surrounding wards, except for limited circumstances such as attending court or pre-arranged appointments.
Additional restrictions ban Bahra from entering shops where they have already been barred, possessing high-value goods worth more than £25 without proof of purchase, or carrying items with security tags still attached.
Bahra is also prohibited from carrying drug paraphernalia associated with illegal drug use.
The update was posted on Met Engage by PCSO Joshua Nesbitt of Ealing Neighbourhood Policing Team.
PCSO Nesbitt said: “The court granted this order to help prevent further offending and protect the community.”
He added: “This action forms part of our continued work to reduce crime, tackle repeat offending, and keep our neighbourhoods safe.”
A Criminal Behaviour Order is a court order designed to prevent further offending. Breaching the conditions is a criminal offence and can lead to arrest, imprisonment, a fine, or both.
Police have urged residents who see Bahra breaching the order to report it by calling 101, or 999 in an emergency, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or through the Crimestoppers website.
