Police stopped three drivers during a speed enforcement operation in Ealing Common and Hanger Hill last week (5 May 2026) following locals raising concerns about speeding in the area.
Met Police carried out checks on Boileau Road, Tring Avenue, Grange Road and Popes Lane following concerns raised at recent ward panel meetings.
One motorist was reported for speeding after allegedly driving at 25mph in a 20mph zone.
Sergeant Ashley Love, for the Ealing Common and Hanger Hill Neighbourhood Police teams, said the operation was launched in response to complaints from residents.
He said: “Following complaints from local residents around speeding, both teams came together to conduct a speed operation. We managed to speak to several residents on these roads and received a lot of positive feedback.”
Police said the driver already had six penalty points and could now face a court appearance and a possible driving ban.
