New digital hub opens in West Ealing

A new digital hub has opened in West Ealing, offering residents access to computers, wi-fi and employment support as part of efforts to tackle digital exclusion.

The facility, launched by housing association giant A2Dominion at the Mahaba Café on the regenerated Green Man Lane estate, aims to help people build digital skills, access essential online services and search for work.

The hub includes desktop computers and laptops, with additional employment and skills support provided by the Shaw Trust. A2Dominion said it expects up to 30 residents a week to use the space, which will also host weekend sessions and workshops for the wider community.

The project was developed following consultation with residents and community partners, and funded by A2Dominion alongside the Clarion Futures West Ealing Digital Fund.

Dele Ryder, partnership and fundraising manager at A2Dominion, said: “Access to technology and online services is essential, and this space will give people the tools and confidence they need to stay connected and develop new skills.”
