Police appeal after West Ealing burglary

Police are appealing for information after jewellery was stolen in a burglary at a home in College Road, West Ealing last week.

The break-in happened between 7pm and 8.44pm on 12 February 2026, when burglars used a tool to force entry through the front door.

Police said the suspects were disturbed and fled the scene. They are described as two white men with Irish accents, wearing all-black clothing, ski masks and gloves.

Officers are asking anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area, or who has doorbell or CCTV footage from the time, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Met on 0207 230 3400 and quote reference 01/7165295/26. Alternatively, information about suspected burglary offending or handling stolen goods can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Police also urged residents to review their home security, including using all locks on doors, marking electronic goods and keeping a note of serial numbers and mobile phone IMEI numbers. The Ealing Broadway safer neighbourhood team said it can provide further advice on property marking and crime prevention.
