Fire Brigade tackle house fire near Ealing Common

Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were sent to a blaze at a house converted into flats on Inglis Road near Ealing Common in the early hours of Friday (19 December 2025).

London Fire Brigade control officers took the first call at 12.27am and crews from Acton, Ealing, Chiswick, Park Royal, Wembley and nearby stations were dispatched to Inglis Road. The fire was under control by 3am and there were no reports of any injuries

The brigade said part of the second floor was damaged, along with about half the roof of the detached property. No injuries were reported.

A 32-metre turntable ladder was used as a water tower, allowing crews to tackle flames from height.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
