Police in Northolt Mandeville say they are stepping up patrols in the area following concerns from locals about dangerous driving and speeding impacting their lives.
According to the force, an operation took place last week (25 November 2025), during which officers examined vehicles to ensure they were insured, had valid MOT certificates and were roadworthy. Several drivers who were stopped were then spoken to and given advice on what police described as “safe and responsible driving”.
The patrols are also covering two-wheel vehicles. In a statement, PCSO Shabiq Ali said: “We are also continuing to monitor e-bikes, e-scooters, mopeds and bikes, ensuring they meet legal requirements and are being used safely. Where necessary, riders are being reminded about the rules and the importance of operating these vehicles responsibly.”
He added: “Your safety remains our priority. Please continue to report any concerns about dangerous driving or nuisance vehicles so we can take appropriate action.”
Residents are being encouraged to use the Met’s website to report their concerns around dangerous driving.
