A man is being sought by the Metropolitan Police after a woman was sexually assaulted in Hanwell. Detectives have released CCTV footage of a suspect in the hope the public can help identify him following the incident in May.
The assault took place shortly before midnight on 21 May 2025 in Park Road, W7. The victim, a woman in her 20s, was followed off the E1 bus by the suspect, who then attacked her as the bus neared Browning Avenue. He proceeded to follow her further down Park Road, where the assault continued. The suspect was last seen running north on Park Road in the direction of Browning Avenue and the E1 bus stop.
The Met describe the man as Black, in his late 20s or early 30s, around 5ft 11in tall with a slim build and dark, curly hair. He was wearing a black jacket and a navy blue Nike t-shirt at the time of the attack.

The victim is being supported by specialist officers, police have confirmed.
Detective Constable Teresa Moore, who is leading the investigation, said: “Women and girls should be safe to travel on public transport – and walk the streets of London – without being attacked. This incident highlights the opportunistic behaviour of the offender so it is really important we locate him as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information, particularly E1 bus passengers travelling between 11:45pm and 11:58pm on 21 May 2025, is urged to contact police by calling 101 quoting 697/21MAY.
