Pitzhanger Manor was buzzing with energy last week (5 June 2025) as rising musical performers Lumarie and Luke Matthews delivered a live performance that left the audience spellbound. The intimate setting of the manor’s elegant ‘eating room’ provided the perfect backdrop for a night of soulful vocals and pitch-perfect piano.
Luke Matthews, born and raised in West Ealing, brought a special hometown charm to the evening. A former pupil at Ealing’s St Benedict’s School, he went on to study Music with Sound Production Technology at Bournemouth University. Now back in Ealing, he works from his own studio.
Originally from Hertfordshire, Lumarie moved to London last year and quickly struck up a musical partnership with Mr Matthews. Since then, the pair have been creating and rehearsing in his Ealing studio, building a sound that blends her powerful, expressive voice with his smooth, emotive playing.
Guests began the evening exploring the manor’s stunning architecture and modern gallery exhibitions before settling in for the performance. After the show, the celebrations continued with drinks and dinner at nearby Côte Ealing.
Lumarie and Mr Matthews will be back at Pitzhanger Manor later this year for a Christmas Special on 27 November 2025
