Acton’s Atom Coffee hosts Diary Room for matcha collaboration

A trio of London influencers are set to descend on Acton this Bank Holiday Monday as part of a collaboration with one of the capital’s fastest-rising cafes.

The Diary Room — made up of Aisha, Duaa and Muna — will be meeting fans and launching a new drink at Atom Coffee on The Vale, W3, between 5pm and 9pm. Known for their fast-growing YouTube channel and podcast, the group have built up a following of over 1.3 million across social media.

Their appearance marks the debut of “Dream Matcha”, a flavour they’ve developed with Atom Coffee, which has quickly gone viral since opening in February due to its speciality brews and photogenic desserts.

Atom co-founder Wadah Abdelmula said: “Since we launched just a few weeks ago the reaction has been incredible.  So it made perfect sense that we team up with the awesome Diary Room — they are an online phenomenon, just like us. We’ve worked with them to come up with a brand new matcha variety
that’s exactly like the Diary Room team — unique, fun and full of sassy flavour.”

The cafe, which stays open until 11pm from Thursday to Sunday, has become a favourite for matcha fans and late-night dessert hunters, with dishes like tiramisu, pistachio cake and a pastel-coloured “cat cake” that’s lit up Instagram.

One customer will also walk away with free matcha for life — the prize in a giveaway that runs via the cafe’s and Diary Room’s Instagram pages. The winner will be announced after the event.
