A 54-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of 66-year-old Michael O’Donnell in Southall, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.
Officers were called to a residential address in Samara Drive at 10:56am on 23 April 2025, where they found the 66-year-old deceased.
Following an investigation, Christopher Donnelly, 54, of Samara Drive, Southall, was arrested in connection with the incident. On Sunday (27 April 2025), he was charged with murder and fraud by false representation.
Donnelly is due to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates Court on Monday, 28 April.
A 28-year-old woman who had also been arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed while further enquiries continue.
Police said Michael O’Donnell’s family had been informed of the development and continue to receive support from specially trained officers.
