Following the inaugural Ealing Book Festival in April 2024, organisers are inviting local authors with a strong connection to the borough to take part in its 2025 local authors showcase.
Taking place at Pitzhanger Manor from 24 April 2025 to 27 April 2025, one evening will be devoted to offering up to 20 local authors an opportunity to pitch for two minutes their book to an audience of book-lovers and to have it on sale afterwards.
To express interest, email: localauthors@ealingbookfestival.com for an application form. Entries close 17 March 2025.
More than 1,300 people attended the first ever Ealing Book Festival which took place at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery and featured authors including former children’s laureates Dame Jacqueline Wilson and Lauren Child; internationally renowned authors Sathnam Sanghera and John Boyne and Booker Prize-winner Eleanor Catton.
As well as the local authors showcase, the Festival programme included writing and poetry workshops; walking tours; poetry recitals and a young poets competition.
