Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing, & Hounslow Mind (HFEH Mind) has become the latest organisation to sign up and implement TOTM’s Period Positive Workplace Scheme which seeks to challenge period taboos and encourage positive change in workplaces.
Working with the period care brand, local mental health charity HFEH Mind said it is “supporting period dignity” as a period-positive workplace and has started to provide free period products in its offices to staff as well as service users.
Arti Modhwadia, CEO, HFEH Mind said: “As an organisation, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. By becoming a period positive workplace and having products readily available at our locations, we aim to address the challenges of period poverty. No one should have to worry about access to basic period essentials, whether they are an employee or someone using our services.”
Ms Modhwadia added: “Period poverty is not just a matter of physical discomfort—it impacts confidence, attendance, and productivity, while perpetuating stigma. By ensuring access to these products, we are taking a proactive step toward supporting health, equality, and dignity for everyone in our spaces. This initiative reflects our values and our commitment to creating an environment where all can thrive.”
