Ealing’s only independent community cinema is back open after the short temporary closure last month (June 2024) for essential maintenance and refurbishment.
We are showing thought-provoking Freud’s Last Session, powerful Green Border, enchanting and hopeful Wilding and a triptych fable Kinds Of Kindness.
2 July at 11:30 am our Carers & Babies club will present Freud’s Last Session.
3 July at 4:30 pm, we are showing the closed-captioned performance of Kinds Of Kindness. Our monthly Board Games Night is also on Wednesday 3 July from 6 pm. Free entry – all enthusiasts and all levels are welcome.
4 July at 2:30 pm offers a modified screening of Wilding. Relaxed screenings are weekly autism and dementia-friendly performances designed primarily for our neurodivergent guests. We accept CEA cards and carers and PAs go free.
6 July at 8 pm offers Jazz Night with Trent Pieterse Trio and their guest, trumpeter and composer Luca Stine. Free entry.
10 July at 6 pm, attend the monthly short film open mic night, Sound & Vision. Tickets are only £7 for two hours of short films of all genres and networking drinks at the lounge afterwards.
13 July at 2 pm when Acton will be busy with Acton Carnival and artisan market, we will be showing Mother, Country, a deeply personal documentary that will be followed by a live Q&A with the director Pablo Navarette and his parents who feature in the film.
18 July at 7:30 pm, we present National Theatre Live: Present Laughter, the multi-award-winning production of Noël Coward’s provocative comedy with phenomenal Andrew Scott in a leading role.
21 July at 2 pm hosts another event in our Climate Emergency Series. We warmly invite all to the screening of I Could Never Go Vegan, followed by a live Q&A with the director and producer Thomas Pickering.
25 July we host our popular free Open Mic Night. Sign up from 7:30 pm, performances start at 8 pm on a first-come, first-served basis.
