With the General Election now declared for 4 July 2024, voters across the country and in Ealing Southall will get the opportunity to have their say on who they want to govern the UK and represent them locally.

Ealing Southall has been represented by Labour’s Virendra Sharma in 2007 following a by-election triggered by the death of MP Piara Khabra.
Earlier this week (27 May 2024), Mr Sharma revealed he was going to stand down and on 30 May 2024 Ealing Council deputy leader Deirdre Costigan was revealed as the candidate for Ealing Southall.
At the last election in 2019, Mr Sharma had a majority of 16,084 over the Conservatives.
